January 17, 2025: Sheffield, PA 16347 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals (DuBois, PA) and the host Sheffield Wolverines (Sheffield, PA), observed DuBois Central Catholic's basketball team overwhelm Sheffield by a margin of 63-34.
The Cardinals (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Cameron County (Emporium, PA). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Cameron County trounced Galeton (Galeton, PA), 67-14, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Johnsonburg Rams (Johnsonburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Sheffield will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 50-27 non-league win over Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA).
