January 17, 2025: Farmington, NH 03835 The Groveton Eagles (Groveton, NH) basketball edged the host Farmington Tigers (Farmington, NH), 59-52 in Friday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Pittsburg for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. Groveton will play a Panthers team coming off a 54-45 non-league win over Nute (Milton, NH). The Panthers record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Farmington falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Newmarket (Newmarket, NH) to play the Mules in a Division IV bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Mules go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Newmarket lost 53-38 in their recent league bout against Profile (Bethlehem, NH)
