New York High School Basketball - Johnstown fells Fort Plain
January 17, 2025: Johnstown, NY 12095 The Johnstown Sir Bills basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Fort Plain Hilltoppers to 44 in the Sir Bills league triumph on Friday.
The Sir Bills now have a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Galway for a Section 2 Western - Mohawk game on Monday, January 20. Johnstown will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 93-25 league loss to Duanesburg (Delanson, NY). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-12.
With the loss, Fort Plain falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Northville (Northville, NY) to confront the Falcons in a Section 2 Western - Mohawk game on Wednesday, January 22. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 7-6. Northville lost 80-30 in their recent league game against Berne-Knox-Westerlo (Berne, NY)
