New Hampshire High School Basketball - Hillsboro-Deering defeats Newfound Regional
January 17, 2025: Hillsboro, NH 03244 The Hillsboro-Deering Hillcats (Hillsboro, NH) basketball were winner over the visiting Newfound Regional Bears (Bristol, NH), 83-72 in Friday's league bout.
The Hillcats now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Campbell for a Division III bout on Monday, January 20. Hillsboro-Deering will play a team coming off a 57-46 league win over Kearsarge (North Sutton, NH). The record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Newfound Regional falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Mascoma (Canaan, NH) to play the Royals in a Division III bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Mascoma won 70-45 in their recent league bout against Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH)
