South Dakota High School Basketball - Upton nudges Hot Springs
January 17, 2025: Hot Springs, SD 57747 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Upton Bobcats (Upton, WY) and the host Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD), observed Upton's basketball team edge Hot Springs by a score of 51-45.
The Bobcats (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against New Underwood (New Underwood, SD). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, New Underwood edged Moorcroft (Moorcroft, WY), 71-42, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bison encounter the Moorcroft Wolves (Moorcroft, WY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Hot Springs will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 73-9 non-league win over Newell (Newell, SD).
