The Ligonier Valley Rams basketball squad (Ligonier, PA), was nudged 73-67 in Friday's non-league battle with the host North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA)

With the victory, North Star advances its record to 10-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA) to meet the Vikings in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 7-7. Blacklick Valley lost 75-39 in their recent league battle against Turkeyfoot Valley Area (Confluence, PA)

The Rams now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greensburg Salem for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 25.
