January 17, 2025: Seminole, OK 74868 The Strother Yellowjackets (Seminole, OK) basketball crushed the visiting Macomb Hornets (Macomb, OK), 81-49 in Friday's league bout.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Allen for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. Strother will play a Mustangs team coming off a 68-34 non-league win over Konawa (Konawa, OK). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Macomb falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Butner (Cromwell, OK) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 23. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Butner lost 66-19 in their recent league bout against Weleetka (Weleetka, OK)
