Michigan High School Basketball - Menominee crushes Sault Area
January 17, 2025: Menominee, MI 49858 The Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI), 82-33 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Maroons now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kingsford for a Great Northern U.P. bout on Monday, January 20. Menominee will play a Flivvers team coming off a 56-55 non-league loss to Iron Mountain (Iron Mountain, MI). The Flivvers record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Sault Area falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Brimley (Brimley, MI) to play the Bays in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Bays go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Brimley lost 51-43 in their recent league bout against Cedarville (Cedarville, MI)
