Illinois High School Basketball - Woodland knocks off Midland
January 17, 2025: Streator, IL 61364 In Friday's league contest, the host Woodland Warriors basketball team scored a good 52-40 win over the Midland Timberwolves.
The Warriors (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Serena (Serena, IL). The Huskers come into the non-league contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Serena was topped by Hall (Spring Valley, IL), 55-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Timberwolves battle the LaMoille Lions (LaMoille, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Midland will attempt to better on its 5-13 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 4-15 record after their 54-51 league loss to Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL).
