January 17, 2025: Mt. Pulaski, IL 62548 Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Midwest Central Raiders (Manito, IL), 61-41 in a league match.
With the victory, Mt. Pulaski upgrades its record to 8-11 on the year. The Hilltoppers travel to Greenview (Greenview, IL) to face the Bulldogs in a Tomahawk match on Saturday, January 18. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 0-15. Greenview lost 56-21 in their recent non-league match against Havana (Havana, IL)
The Raiders now sport a 4-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Athens for a Sangamo match on Tuesday, January 21. Midwest Central will face a Warriors squad coming off a 60-53 non-league loss to Calvary (Springfield, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 11-8.
