The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) and the visiting Papillion-LaVista Monarchs (Papillion, NE), observed Pius X's basketball team edge Papillion-LaVista by a score of 71-67.

The Thunderbolts (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE). The come into the non-league challenge with a 11-1 record. In their last challenge, Elkhorn North edged Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE), 71-60, in a league challenge.
