Maine High School Basketball - Yarmouth nips Poland
January 17, 2025: Yarmouth, ME 04096 In Friday's league contest, the host Yarmouth Clippers basketball team scored a close 46-40 win over the Poland Knights.
The Clippers (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Region (Naples, ME). The Lakers come into the B South contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Lake Region edged Waynflete (Portland, ME), 85-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Oak Hill Raiders (Sabattus, ME) in a B South contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Poland will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Raiders come into the contest with a 3-11 record after their 48-37 non-league loss to Madison (Madison, ME).
