The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA) and the visiting Alexandria Trojans (Alexandria, LA), observed Neville's basketball team edge Alexandria by a margin of 46-43.

The Tigers (14-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA). The Lions come into the 5A District 2 challenge with a 17-6 record. In their last challenge, Ouachita Parish edged West Monroe (West Monroe, LA), 47-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Bunkie Panthers (Bunkie, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Alexandria will attempt to better on its 18-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 35-32 non-league win over Church Point (Church Point, LA).
