Oregon High School Basketball - Bend crushes Klamath Union
January 17, 2025: Bend, OR 97701 The Bend Lava Bears (Bend, OR) basketball crushed the visiting Klamath Union Pelicans (Klamath Falls, OR), 67-30 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Lava Bears now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Mountain View for a 5A Intermountain bout on Wednesday, January 22. Bend will play a Cougars team coming off a 73-68 non-league loss to La Grande (La Grande, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, Klamath Union falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Pelicans host Phoenix (Phoenix, OR) to play the Pirates in a 4A Skyline bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Phoenix won 51-17 in their recent league bout against Mazama (Klamath Falls, OR)
