Washington High School Basketball - Nooksack Valley nudges Cascade
January 17, 2025: Leavenworth, WA 98826 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) and the host Cascade Kodiaks (Leavenworth, WA), observed Nooksack Valley's basketball team edge Cascade by a score of 57-50.
The Pioneers (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA). The Mountaineers come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Baker was tipped by Anacortes (Anacortes, WA), 38-36, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Kodiaks encounter the Liberty Bell Mountain Lions (Winthrop, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Cascade will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Mountain Lions come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 57-38 non-league loss to Omak (Omak, WA).
