January 17, 2025: Wilmington, DE 19804 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Delcastle Technical Cougars (Wilmington, DE) and the visiting First State Military Academy Bulldogs (Clayton, DE), observed Delcastle Technical's basketball team overwhelm First State Military Academy by a score of 49-14.
The Cougars (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Middletown (Middletown, DE). The Cavaliers come into the Blue Hen Flight - A challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Middletown trounced Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE), 60-51, in a league challenge.

First State Military Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Green Knights come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 52-35 non-league loss to Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE).
