New Hampshire High School Basketball - Derryfield triumphant over Stark
January 17, 2025: Manchester, NH 03104 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Derryfield Cougars (Manchester, NH) and the visiting Stark Generals (Weare, NH), observed Derryfield's basketball team overwhelm Stark by a score of 69-32.
The Cougars (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Souhegan (Amherst, NH). The Sabers come into the Division II challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Souhegan was routed by Pelham (Pelham, NH), 62-29, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Generals encounter the Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers (Hollis, NH) in a Division II challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Stark will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 38-36 league win over Hanover (Hanover, NH).
