New Hampshire High School Basketball - Groveton holds off Farmington
January 17, 2025: Farmington, NH 03835 The Groveton Eagles basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Farmington Tigers to 48 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pittsburg for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. Groveton will confront a Panthers team coming off a 58-29 non-league win over Nute (Milton, NH). The Panthers record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Farmington falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Newmarket (Newmarket, NH) to confront the Mules in a Division IV game on Tuesday, January 21. The Mules go into the game with a record of 9-0. Newmarket won 58-13 in their recent league game against Profile (Bethlehem, NH)
