In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls basketball team scored a big 43-22 triumph over the First Baptist Christian Eagles.

The Swamp Owls (7-15) will now prepare for their contest against Willow (New Orleans, LA). The Lions go into the 4A District 9 contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Willow smashed Academy of Our Lady (Marrero, LA), 47-14, in a league contest.
