In Friday's league contest, the host Highland Huskies basketball team scored a close 52-47 win over the Platte Valley Broncos.

The Huskies (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Yuma (Yuma, CO). The Outlaws come into the 3A Patriot contest with a 6-5 record.

In their next game, the Broncos battle the Yuma Outlaws (Yuma, CO) in a 3A Patriot contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Platte Valley will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Outlaws come into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 53-40 non-league loss to Eaton (Eaton, CO).
