The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Istrouma Indians (Baton Rouge, LA) and the visiting Plaquemine Green Devils (Plaquemine, LA), observed Istrouma's basketball team knock off Plaquemine by a score of 52-38.

The Indians (15-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 10-12 record. In their last challenge, Liberty Magnet prevailed over Brusly (Brusly, LA), 47-36, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Green Devils encounter the Broadmoor Buccaneers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a 4A District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Plaquemine will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record.
