South Dakota High School Basketball - St. Thomas More holds off West Central
January 17, 2025: Hartford, SD 57033 The St. Thomas More Cavaliers basketball team scored 29 points and limited the host West Central Trojans to 22 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cavaliers now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lennox for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. St. Thomas More will confront a Orioles team coming off a 59-47 league loss to Vermillion (Vermillion, SD). The Orioles record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, West Central falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD) to confront the Quarriers in a A Region 3 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Quarriers go into the game with a record of 4-7. Dell Rapids lost 64-45 in their recent non-league game against Milbank (Milbank, SD)
