In Friday's league contest, the host Brother Rice Crusaders basketball team scored a close 51-50 triumph over the Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack.

The Crusaders (17-1) will now prepare for their contest against Marist (Chicago, IL). The RedHawks go into the contest with a 2-1 record.

In their next game, the Wolfpack confront the De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) in a contest, on Friday, January 31. Saint Ignatius College Prep will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
