New Mexico High School Basketball - Las Cruces fells Carlsbad
January 17, 2025: Carlsbad, NM 88221 The Las Cruces Bulldawgs basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls to 40 in the Bulldawgs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldawgs now have a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Organ Mountain for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Las Cruces will confront a Knights team coming off a 61-49 non-league win over JV Opponent (, ). The Knights record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Carlsbad falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cavemen/cavegirls host Centennial (Las Cruces, NM) to confront the Hawks in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 3-4. Centennial won 72-27 in their recent non-league game against Deming (Deming, NM)
