Virginia High School Basketball - Steward routed by Catholic
January 17, 2025: Richmond, VA 23238 Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Steward Spartans (Richmond, VA), 64-35 in a league match.
With the victory, Catholic advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Crusaders host Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA) to face the Bulldogs in a match on Tuesday, January 21. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 2-1.
The Spartans now own a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grace Christian School for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. Steward will face a Kings squad coming off a 70-53 non-league loss to Atlantic Shores Christian (Chesapeake, VA). The Kings record now stands at 4-6.
