Washington High School Basketball - St. George's holds off Chewelah
January 17, 2025: Spokane, WA 99208 The St. George's Dragons basketball team scored 32 points and limited the visiting Chewelah Cougars to 25 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Dragons now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Kettle Falls for a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. St. George's will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 46-37 non-league loss to Medical Lake (Medical Lake, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Chewelah falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Rosalia (Rosalia, WA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 4-8. Rosalia won 38-30 in their recent non-league game against Waitsburg/Prescott (Waitsburg, WA)
