January 17, 2025: Westerly, RI 02891 Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI), 78-37 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Westerly upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Tolman (Pawtucket, RI) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 1-4.
The Thunderbolts now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scituate for a non-league match on Monday, January 20.
