Texas High School Soccer - Denison nudges Azle
January 17, 2025: Azle, TX 76020 The Denison Yellow Jackets soccer squad scored 1 points and held the host Azle Hornets to 0 in the Yellow Jackets non-league victory on Friday.
The Yellow Jackets now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Walnut Grove for a 5A Region 2 District 9 bout on Tuesday, January 21. Denison will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Azle moves to 1-5 on the year. The Hornets travel to Graham (Graham, TX) to play the Steers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. The Steers go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Graham won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Springtown (Springtown, TX)
