With the triumph, Lake Creek moves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Montgomery (Montgomery, TX) to clash with the Bears in a test on Tuesday, January 21. The Bears come into the test with a record of 3-4. Montgomery lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Porter (Porter, TX)
The Cougars now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stratford for a 6A Region 3 District 17 test on Tuesday, January 21. Cypress Creek will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Pasadena (Pasadena, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 3-4.
