Texas High School Soccer - Little Cypress-Mauriceville toppled by Dayton
January 17, 2025: Dayton, TX 77535 Dayton Broncos (Dayton, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Dayton moves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Lumberton (Lumberton, TX) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league test on Saturday, January 18. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 2-3. Lumberton won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against La Porte (La Porte, TX)
The Bears now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lumberton for a 4A Region 3 District 17 test on Tuesday, January 28.
