Texas High School Soccer - Marcus knocks off Liberty
January 17, 2025: Flower Mound, TX 75028 In Friday's non-league outing, the host Marcus Marauders soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Liberty Redhawks.
The Marauders (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lewisville (Lewisville, TX). The Farmers go into the 6A Region 1 District 5 outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Lewisville by Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Redhawks confront the Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 11 outing, on Tuesday, January 21. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Raccoons go into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Lone Star (Frisco, TX).
