January 17, 2025: Covington, LA 70433 Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons (Hammond, LA), 2-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Northlake Christian advances its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA) to clash with the Jaguars in a Division IV District 5 test on Monday, January 20. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 12-6. Pope John Paul II won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Salmen (Slidell, LA)
The Falcons now have a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Episcopal for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 21. St. Thomas Aquinas will clash with a Knights team coming off a 7-1 league win over Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA). The Knights record now stands at 12-5.
