Ohio High School Basketball - Franklin tops Edgewood
January 18, 2022: Franklin, OH 45005 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Franklin Wildcats (Franklin, OH) and the visiting Edgewood Cougars (Trenton, OH), saw Franklin's basketball squad knock off Edgewood by a count of 76-66.
With the victory, Franklin upgrades its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Oakwood (Dayton, OH) to play the Lumberjacks in a Southwestern Buckeye - East challenge on Friday, January 21. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Oakwood lost 52-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Africentric Early College (Columbus, OH)
Next up, the Cougars play the Northwest Knights (Cincinnati, OH) in a Southwest Ohio challenge, on Friday, January 21. Edgewood will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 54-44 non-league loss to Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (Cincinnati, OH).
