January 18, 2022: Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 The Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Garber Dukes (Essexville, MI), 57-41 in Tuesday's league test.
The Oilers (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI). The Bobcats go into the Saginaw Valley test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Grand Blanc notched a victory over Midland (Midland, MI), 63-42, in a league test.
The Dukes now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Birch Run for a Tri-Valley - East test on Friday, January 21. Garber will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 52-32 non-league loss to Swartz Creek (Swartz Creek, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 2-6.
