January 18, 2022: Mt. Vernon, SD 57363 The Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD) basketball knocked off the visiting Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD), 63-52 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Titans (6-3) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, St. Mary notched a victory over Castlewood (Castlewood, SD), 56-50, in a non-league test.
The Pheasants now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Britton-Hecla for a non-league test on Thursday, January 20. Redfield will encounter a Braves squad coming off a 71-63 non-league loss to Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD). The Braves record now stands at 2-6.
