January 18, 2022: Woodstock, CT 06281 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Windham Whippets (Willimantic, CT) basketball squad nipped the host Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT), by a margin of 43-41.
The Whippets (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Griswold (Griswold, CT). The Wolverines enter the Eastern Connecticut I match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Griswold was nipped by Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT), 50-44, in a non-league match.
With the defeat, Woodstock Academy moves to 1-6 on the year. The Centaurs travel to Waterford (Waterford, CT) to meet the Lancers in a Eastern Connecticut II match on Friday, January 21. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 7-3. Waterford won 49-43 in their recent non-league match against Plainfield (Central Village, CT)
