Maryland High School Basketball - Tuscarora overwhelmed by Manchester Valley
January 18, 2022: Manchester, MD 21102 The Manchester Valley Mavericks basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Tuscarora Titans to 28 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Mavericks now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Carroll for a Carroll County contest on Friday, January 21. Manchester Valley will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 43-26 league loss to Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-10.
The Titans (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Frederick (Frederick, MD). The Cadets come into the Central Maryland contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Frederick triumphed over South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD), 72-6, in a non-league contest.
