West Virginia High School Basketball - Montcalm crushes Hurley
January 18, 2023: Montcalm, WV 24747 Montcalm Generals (Montcalm, WV) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hurley Rebels (Hurley, VA), 80-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Montcalm upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Generals host Bath County (Hot Springs, VA) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Bath County won 71-50 in their recent league bout against Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA)
Next up, the Rebels clash with the Richlands Blue Tornado (Richlands, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Hurley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Blue Tornado go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 73-70 league win over Tazewell (Tazewell, VA).
