Maine High School Basketball - Old Orchard Beach fells Wells
January 18, 2023: Wells, ME 04090 Old Orchard Beach Seagulls (Old Orchard Beach, ME) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Wells Warriors (Wells, ME), 61-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Old Orchard Beach upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Seagulls travel to York (York, ME) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-4.
Next up, the Warriors clash with the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Wells will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 62-43 league win over Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME).
