The Franklin County Wildcats basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the visiting Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles to 31 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richmond for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Franklin County will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 49-27 non-league win over Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-0.

The Golden Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Northeastern (Fountain City, IN). The Knights come into the contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Northeastern edged Winchester Community (Winchester, IN), 39-20, in a league contest.
