California High School Basketball - Oakdale can't hold off East Union
January 18, 2023: Manteca, CA 95336 The East Union Lancers basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Oakdale Mustangs to 38 in the Lancers league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lancers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sierra for a contest on Friday, January 20. East Union will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 52-45 league win over Central Catholic (Modesto, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 14-3.
The Mustangs (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Manteca (Manteca, CA). The Buffaloes enter the contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Manteca was nudged by Kimball (Tracy, CA), 37-26, in a league contest.
