The Anaheim Colonists (Anaheim, CA) basketball felled the visiting Beckman Patriots (Irvine, CA), 40-30 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Colonists (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Magnolia (Anaheim, CA). The Sentinels go into the Orange test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Magnolia thwarted Santa Ana Valley (Santa Ana, CA), 58-17, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 13-7 record. They play next when they host Woodbridge for a Pacific Coast test on Friday, January 20. Beckman will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 60-43 league loss to Sage Hill (Newport Beach, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 14-7.
