Indiana High School Basketball - Elwood trounced by Tri-Central

January 18, 2023: Elwood, IN 46036

The Tri-Central Trojans routed the host Elwood Panthers basketball team by a final score of 65-6 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Carroll Cougars (Flora, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland game, on Friday, January 20. Tri-Central will attempt to move on its 8-11 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 17-3 record after their 52-45 league loss to Clinton Prairie (Frankfort, IN).

With the defeat, Elwood moves to 1-18 on the year. The Panthers travel to Wes-Del (Gaston, IN) to face the Warriors in a non-league game on Thursday, January 19. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 3-15. Wes-Del lost 31-27 in their recent non-league game against Southern Wells (Poneto, IN)
