Ohio High School Basketball - Westland ripped by Franklin Heights
January 18, 2023: Columbus, OH 43204 The Franklin Heights Falcons basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Westland Cougars to 31 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Falcons now sport a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westerville North for a Ohio Capital - Capital contest on Friday, January 20. Franklin Heights will battle a Warriors team coming off a 73-43 non-league loss to Marysville (Marysville, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 5-7.
The Cougars (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Gahanna, OH). The Golden Lions enter the Ohio Capital - Ohio contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Lincoln triumphed over Pickerington North (Pickerington, OH), 82-68, in a league contest.
