New Jersey High School Basketball - Keyport tops South Amboy
January 18, 2023: Keyport, NJ 07735 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Keyport Raiders (Keyport, NJ) and the visiting South Amboy Governors (South Amboy, NJ), saw Keyport's basketball squad knock off South Amboy by a tally of 42-24.
With the victory, Keyport improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Raiders host Keansburg (Keansburg, NJ) to play the Titans in a Shore B - Central challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Keansburg won 54-21 in their recent league challenge against Henry Hudson (Highlands, NJ)
Next up, the Governors play the East Brunswick Bears (East Brunswick, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. South Amboy will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 9-12 record after their 57-52 league loss to Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ).
