January 18, 2023: South Williamsport, PA 17702 The South Williamsport Mountaineers (South Williamsport, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA), 27-17 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Mountaineers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Millville (Millville, PA). The Quakers go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record.
The Griffins now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Montgomery for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 25. Sullivan County will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 45-25 non-league loss to Troy (Troy, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 0-2.
