January 18, 2023: Miami, FL 33184 The Belen Jesuit Wolverines (Miami, FL) basketball crushed the visiting Mater Academy Charter Lions (Hialeah Gardens, FL), 65-41 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Southwest (Miami, FL). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Southwest walloped International Studies (Hollywood, FL), 51-19, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host American for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Mater Academy Charter will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 59-39 non-league loss to Everglades (Miramar, FL). The Patriots record now stands at 9-8.
