Kofa Kings (Yuma, AZ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Gila Ridge Hawks (Yuma, AZ), 55-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kofa upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Kings travel to Youngker (Buckeye, AZ) to play the Roughriders in a bout on Thursday, January 19. The Roughriders come into the bout with a record of 0-1.
