Virginia High School Basketball - King George fells Mountain View
January 18, 2023: Stafford, VA 22556 King George Foxes (King George, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mountain View Wildcats (Stafford, VA), 37-23 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, King George improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Foxes host James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. James Monroe lost 44-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Park View Patriots (Sterling, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Mountain View will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 45-35 non-league loss to Heritage (Leesburg, VA).
