The Cheney RVT Beavers (Manchester, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Avon Falcons (Avon, CT), 77-34 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Beavers (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Goodwin Tech (New Britain, CT). The Gladiators go into the Connecticut Technical - Central test with a 6-3 record.

The Falcons now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Glastonbury for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 23.
